Transplant Renewed by NBC

NBC's fall medical drama Transplant, a freshman member of their lineup, will be back for a second season. The show was a more modest ratings performer for the network, but is a Canadian import, making it a cheaper program for NBC to air. It averaged a 0.44 in its inaugural season in A18-49, going as low as a 0.3 and as high as a 0.6 before wrapping season one with steady 0.4s this week. Canadian home CTV renewed the show for season two in June. It was one of two new Canadian medical dramas acquired by NBC this season, alongside Nurses. Hamza Haq, Laurence Leboeuf, John Hannah, Ayisha Issa, and Jim Watson star in the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
