Peacock Renew/Cancel: Girls5eva Renewed for Season 2

Below is a table of audience demand multipliers as reported by Parrot Analytics for Peacock’s original series. A 1.0 multiplier is the average for all shows past and present, and is updated on a rolling 30-day basis. The numbers seen in this table are as reported on June 14, 2021. Girls5eva

Peacock’s renewal of Girls5eva is far from surprising, as it has more demand than almost every other one of their shows. It didn’t take them much more than a month to officially announce a decision for it, meaning they’re likely very pleased with its performance. If you’re Paula Pell, you’re probably satisfied you left A.P. Bio in favor of Girls5eva.

Rutherford Falls

Quickly becoming the Peacock original with the highest audience demand, the lack of a renewal for Rutherford Falls is a bit of a head-scratcher. Sure, Peacock canceled Brave New World, but that show was reportedly very expensive. It’s unclear if Rutherford Falls is distributed by NBCUniversal or not, but a safe guess would be it is given virtually all of their other scripted originals are, and co-creator Michael Schur has a massive contract with the company. I would assume a renewal is a formality at this point.

Where’s Waldo?

Where’s Waldo’s Wikipedia page claims Season 3 will premiere toward the end of June, but I can’t find any other sources to back that up. Either way, I’m predicting it will be renewed for Season 3.
