a frappuccino and puts a straw in her drink. Paul appears behind her.
PAUL

turns around.
BRITTANEY

PAUL
Hey.
BRITTANEY

PAUL
Can we talk?
BRITTANEY
Ummm yeah ok.
Brittaney and
Paul take a seat at a table.
PAUL
I just want to
say I’m sorry.
BRITTANEY

PAUL
Look I was a
dick. I shouldn't have kissed that girl. It’s just… We barely saw each other
and it just felt like we grew apart.
BRITTANEY
Is that all?
PAUL
Britt. I want
to get back together.
Brittaney
laughs.
BRITTANEY
Why? So you
can hurt me again?
PAUL

Yeah well too
bad. I’m with Edison now.
PAUL
Edison doesn’t

Andrew and
Gabby sit at a table.
ANDREW
And that’s how

GABBY

ANDREW
It only lasted
till middle school.
GABBY

thinking. What if you and I watched a movie in my dorm. My roommate’s at a
family reunion.
ANDREW

Edison sits
next to Andrew.
EDISON

GABBY
One time my
boyfriend's ex put laxatives in my coffee.
EDISON

GABBY
My roommate
mistook it for hers. She did not have a good day.

the party, I saw Paul.

homework at his desk. There is a knock at the door. It is a girl.
GRACE

Grace kisses
Edison. Brittaney appears in the doorway and sees them. Edison pulls back and
sees Brittaney.

isn’t what it looks like.
Brittaney runs
away crying.
