Schooled Renewed by ABC

ABC has renewed freshman comedy Schooled for a second season. The series is a spinoff of The Goldbergs, one of ABC's top comedies, and has been a decent performer itself. Posting a 0.99 average, the show is one of ABC's highest-rated new comedies, only behind The Conners. It has posted solid retention of The Goldbergs, though it has had a tendency to fluctuate rapidly in the ratings even with the same-sized lead-in. Cast members from The Goldbergs, namely AJ Michalka, Tim Meadows and Bryan Callen, star in the series, set in the 1990s in a school in Pennsylvania. This was a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
