The Rookie Renewed for Season 2

Freshman procedural series The Rookie has been renewed by ABC. The show airs in what has traditionally been one of ABC's weakest slots, and did reasonably well there with a 0.72 average. That's higher than its 9:30 lead-in Splitting Up Together, and higher than both of last season's timeslot occupants, Kevin (Probably) and For the People. The show wrapped for the season on April 16, tying its average with a 0.7. Nathan Fillion stars in the series alongside Alyssa Diaz and Richard T. Jones. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
