INT. ANDREW & EDISON’S DORM - DAY
Andrew enters the dorm. It is pitch black. Edison sits on his bed wearing a hoodie. His face is illuminated by the light of his laptop.
ANDREW
You’re not gonna believe what happened during class.
Andrew sees Edison.
ANDREW
Seriously dude? It’s been two days.
EDISON
It feels like a millenium.
Andrew opens the curtains. Light floods the room. Edison covers his eyes.
ANDREW
Have you told Brittaney that the kiss between you and Grace was a setup by Paul?
EDISON
She won’t answer my texts or calls and she won’t answer her door.
ANDREW
Sarah says she’s really upset.
EDISON
Why wouldn’t she be. She saw me full on kissing another girl.
ANDREW
And just to make sure, she kissed you?
EDISON
Yes!
Andrew puts his hands up.
ANDREW
Just making sure.
EDISON
I was finally in a relationship with a girl that I actually liked and just like that it ended.
ANDREW
You know what you need to do.
EDISON
What?
ANDREW
You need to win her back. Big grand gesture. I’m talking flowers, chocolates, and a mariachi band.
EDISON
No.
ANDREW
What do you mean no?
EDISON
We’re gonna do something better.
ANDREW
I’m sorry what do you mean we?
EDISON
We’re gonna get revenge.
ANDREW
On Brittaney?
EDISON
No! We’re gonna get revenge on Paul.
ANDREW
Uh I’m not.
EDISON
Uh yes you are.
ANDREW
Or what?
EDISON
Or I’m gonna tell Gabby about your crush on Sarah.
ANDREW
Dude.
EDISON
What’s it gonna be?
ANDREW
Fine. What kind of revenge are you thinking of?
EDISON
We’re gonna go to his frat house and teepee it.
ANDREW
Oh. Ok that’s not bad.
EDISON
And then we’ll set the house on fire.
ANDREW
Ok if I’m gonna be an accessory to your quest for revenge, we can’t be committing any felonies.
EDISON
Fine we’ll just teepee.
ANDREW
Ok then.
EDISON
We only have one pack of toilet paper. We’re gonna need more.
INT. SARAH’S DORM - DAY
Sarah is cleaning her dorm. There is a knock at the door. Sarah answers it. Edison walks in and heads straight to her bathroom. Andrew enters the dorm.
SARAH
Um what the hell is going on here?
Edison walks out of the bathroom holding four rolls of toilet paper.
EDISON
You need these?
SARAH
Why do YOU need them?
Edison goes back into the bathroom.
SARAH
{To Andrew}
What in the world is going on here?
ANDREW
Edison is going to get revenge on Paul.
SARAH
And you’re helping him?
ANDREW
Not by choice.
SARAH
Let me guess, you're gonna teepee the frat house.
ANDREW
Yes.
Edison exits the bathroom holding a bag full of toilet paper.
EDISON
Ok let’s go.
SARAH
Wait. I want in.
ANDREW
What?
SARAH
Paul’s an asshole.
Edison hugs Sarah.
EDISON
Lets go. Operation Snowstorm is officially a go.
EXT. PAUL’S COLLEGE CAMPUS - NIGHT
The trio walk up to Paul’s fraternity house. They start teepeeing the house and surrounding trees. After they finish, they run to their car and drive away.
INT. FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - NIGHT
The trio sit in a fast food restaurant.
EMPLOYEE
Order number 140. Your order is ready.
ANDREW
That’s us.
EDISON
{Sarcastically}
Congratulations, you can count.
Andrew leaves to get their food.
SARAH
Edison.
EDISON
Yeah?
SARAH
Are Andrew and Gabby dating?
EDISON
Yeah. Since the party.
SARAH
And?
EDISON
And what?
SARAH
Nothing nevermind.
EDISON
Now hold on a sec. Why do you care?
Sarah does not answer.
EDISON CONT.
You like Andrew.
SARAH
No. No I don’t. Yes we kissed but we’re just friends.
EDISON
Then why do you care so much about Andrew and Gabby?
SARAH
I’m his friend. I just want the best for him. Don’t you.
Edison doesn't answer.
SARAH CONT.
Don’t you?
EDISON
Yes. Yes I do.
Andrew returns. They start eating their food.
EXT. DORM BUILDING - DAY
Edison walks to his car. He stops. His car is covered in duct tape. A sticky note is on the driver’s side window. Edison picks up the sticky note. The note says “Courtesy of Kappa Alpha Sigma”.
INT. AUDITORIUM CLASSROOM - DAY
Andrew sits in a large auditorium classroom filled with students. A professor lectures at the front. Edison walks in and sits next to Andrew.
ANDREW
{Whispering}
What the hell are you doing here? Don't you have a class?
EDISON
This is more important.
Edison hands Andrew the sticky note. Andrew reads it.
ANDREW
I have to say, I expected something more than just a sticky note.
EDISON
They duct taped my car.
ANDREW
Well you did teepee their house.
EDISON
WE teepeed their house. Look, Paul clearly has the backing of his frat brothers. We need to strike back harder, and soon. Operation Snowstorm is back on.
ANDREW
Count me out. I already helped you. Also I am in the middle of a class.
EDISON
I swear I will tell Gabby if you don't help me.
Andrew contemplates. He gets up and follows Edison out of the classroom.
INT. LIBRARY - DAY
Sarah sits at a table reading a textbook. Andrew and Edison join her.
EDISON
Operation Snowstorm is back on.
SARAH
Why?
ANDREW
Paul and company retaliated.
SARAH
What'd they do.
ANDREW
They duct taped his car.
SARAH
Ok. So what's our next course of action?
ANDREW
Our next course of action should be to apologize and end this ridiculous feud.
EDISON
No. That asshole needs to be stopped.
SARAH
He’s right.
ANDREW
Seriously? You’re really going along with this?
SARAH
Paul’s an asshole. Edison, what're you thinking?
EDISON
We torch their house.
ANDREW
Again, we are not going to commit a felony.
EDISON
Well then what do YOU think we should do.
ANDREW
I think YOU should talk to Brittaney and do a grand gesture.
EDISON
I’ll do that after but we need to destroy Paul.
SARAH
What’re we gonna do?
EDISON
He targeted my car so we’re gonna target his.
ANDREW
Please tell me you’re not gonna torch it.
EDISON
No.
EXT. PAUL’S COLLEGE CAMPUS - NIGHT
The trio walk up to Paul’s fraternity house. They sneak up next to a car.
SARAH
Ok Edison. What’s the plan?
Edison pulls out three cans of spray paint.
EDISON
I think Paul’s car could use a paint job.
The trio start spray painting Paul’s car. Andrew points to another car.
ANDREW
Isn't that Brittaney’s car?
SARAH
Yeah.
EDISON
What the hell?
The trio go to a window of the fraternity house and peek in. Brittaney and Paul are sitting on a couch talking.
EDISON
Let’s go.
INT. SARAH’S CAR - NIGHT
The trio sit in silence in Sarah’s car. Edison looks out the window.
ANDREW
I’m sure she has a reason.
EDISON
She clearly made her choice.
SARAH
You don’t know that.
EDISON
Paul won.
INT. ANDREW & EDISON’S DORM - NIGHT
Andrew and Edison enter their dorm. Edison sits at his desk.
EDISON
When Sarah rejected you how did you cope?
ANDREW
Well first off, she didn’t reject me. She has a boyfriend and second, I kept myself busy.
EDISON
With what?
ANDREW
Mostly school.
EDISON
Ughhhhh.
There is a knock at the door. Andrew answers it. It is Brittaney.
BRITTANEY
Is Edison here?
ANDREW
Yeah. Come in.
Brittaney enters.
ANDREW
I’m gonna go get a shake.
Andrew leaves.
BRITTANEY
We need to talk.
EDISON
No. No I don’t think so.
BRITTANEY
Edison-
EDISON
You made your choice.
BRITTANEY
Choice?
EDISON
I saw you at Paul's place. You and him seem happy. I hope nothing but the best for you two.
BRITTANEY
Edison-
EDISON
You know, I just don’t get it. He cheats on you for months and I get kissed by some girl and you go back to him. I loved you Brittaney and you just took my heart and threw it away.
Brittaney tears up.
BRITTANEY
Edison I-
EDISON
Just go. Get out. You and I… we’re done.
BRITTANEY
Screw you Edison!
Brittaney turns to leave but stops and turns to face Edison.
BRITTANEY
Just for the record, I was at Paul’s to tell him to stop. I know he and Grace set up up. I made it clear to Paul that he and I are over. Just so you know.
Brittaney leaves.
