The Cool Kids Canceled by Fox

Freshman comedy The Cool Kids has been canceled by Fox. The show, set at an Arizona retirement home, has been a decent performer for Friday nights, posting solid retention of Last Man Standing since the start. However, its 0.84 average wasn't enough to justify another season as the show becomes an outsourced production. The show is also losing its time slot to WWE SmackDown, meaning it would have needed to move to a weekday slot. The show was created by It's Always Sunny star Charlie Day along with Paul Fruchbom, and starred Vicki Lawrence, Leslie Jordan, David Alan Grier and Martin Mull. The series finale airs tonight.
