What Does the Race Look Like Now, Now that Reign is Ending?
With no new predictions at the moment, the CW has officially broken the final season tradition of one show per season. It has given the final season treatment to Reign, the second show this season to get an announced final season after The Vampire Diaries. With the CW breaking pattern, this could mean that there could be at least one more veteran getting the ax, in addition to Frequency and No Tomorrow.
What does this mean for the other three low rated CW shows currently on the table? As of right now, there is no change. Frequency and No Tomorrow are still certain to be canceled. Would the same fate befall Crazy Ex? Not likely. It was capped at 13 episodes before the second season started airing. Crazy Ex's chances are still looking good for now, as it is still likely to be renewed for a third season. In addition, the CW has not started a fall schedule with less than six returning fall shows in the past few seasons. For those who are hoping for its eventual cancelation, it is likely not going to happen this season. Sorry to burst your bubble!
As of right now, there's not much to discuss until Riverdale premieres January 26. Carry on, folks!
