Friday TV Ratings 11/5/21: Shark Tank and 20/20 Slip, SWAT and Magnum PI Steady After Week Off (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's 'Shark Tank' (0.60, +0.03) maintained its upward momentum by gaining three-hundredths and hitting a new season high, beating out last week's rating which had been its previous high. However, '20/20' (0.31, -0.18) did not benefit from 'Tank' and lost close to two-tenths from its last outing. This meant that a rising installment of NBC's 'Dateline' (0.38, +0.05) was able to outpace '20/20' head-on in the 9pm hour. One hour prior, the final edition of 'Home Sweet Home' (0.21, +0.05) picked up five-hundredths. On Fox, 'WWE Smackdown' (0.57, -0.01) shed a hundredth from two weeks ago and came a few ticks short of topping the evening. CBS's 'SWAT' (0.49, +0.03) rose by a couple hundredths, but 'Magnum PI' (0.43) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.46) neither rose nor fell in their return. Over on The CW, 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.09) held steady after taking last week off but 'Nancy Drew' (0.04, -0.01) dropped by a single hundredth.

Finals Update: 'Shark Tank' (+0.1), 'WWE SmackDown' (+0.1), and 'Blue Bloods' (+0.1) adjusted up.
