Saturday TV Ratings 11/13/21: Saturday Night Live Rises with Musical Guest Taylor Swift, College Football Leads, 48 Hours Rises (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Assisted by host Jonathan Majors and musical guest Taylor Swift, NBC's latest episode of 'Saturday Night Live' (0.97, +0.09) went roughly a tenth above last week's outing (0.88) but couldn't quite reach season-high territory. Repeat broadcasts of 'The Wall' (0.16), 'Dateline' (0.25), and 'SNL Vintage' (0.32) preceded the main attraction. In college football news, ABC's 'Notre Dame v. VA' telecast (0.70) more than doubled Fox's 'TCU v. OK St.' game (0.34) in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Over on CBS, '48 Hours' (0.40, +0.11) rose by a solid tenth from its previous outing. The true-crime series had stronger support than last week as encores of 'FBI' (0.32) and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.29) demolished the week-ago reruns of 'Bull' (0.17) and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.16). On the CW, the original episode of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.10, -0.01) lost a hundredth, but 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.09, +0.03) managed to gain three-hundredths. The reruns that aired in-between (0.11/0.07) were markedly up from the week prior (0.08/0.05).

Finals Update: 'College Football: Notre Dame v. VA' (+0.2) adjusted up. 'College Football: TCU v. OK St.' (-0.1) adjusted down.
