TBS, TruTV, Comedy Central and FXX haven't exactly been the busiest networks in the past few months, but it's still well past time for an update for these four networks, as I haven't updated my predictions for them since September. Keep reading to see what moves are in store for these shows and which shows have been renewed since the last update.
TBS:
TruTV:
At Home with Amy Sedaris: As time goes on, I've really soured on the odds of renewal for this acclaimed scripted comedy. COVID-19 precautions have made shows more expensive to film, and I don't know if TruTV will be able to afford a huge rise in productions costs for this show. It does well for them, but I don't think it does well enough to survive this pandemic, which has led to multiple cancellations across the TV industry. It LEANS CANCELLATION.
It's Personal with Amy Hoggart: It's been a long time since any news has come out about this show, and I can't feel so confident about it, particularly when it was a mediocre performer to begin with. It's being downgraded to LEANS RENEWAL.
Tirdy Works: I'm downgrading this show for similar reasons to It's Personal. It's been a few months and there's been very little news about it. I think it's still a LIKELY RENEWAL, but I want to be cautious here, given that it wasn't a huge performer or anything.
Comedy Central:
No updates.
FXX:
Archer: Season 11 of this show came and went since our last updaste, and so did a renewal, meaning I never got to make a prediction for it. There isn't much else to say about this show until season twelve comes around next year.
