It took some time, but The Detour has gotten its renewal. A little over a month after its season finale, TBS has confirmed that the show will be returning for a fourth season. This isn't a very surprising development, as the Detour is one of TBS's strongest shows in the 18-49 demo. The third season took a hit of about 11%, but remained strong with a 0.37 average. The Detour was created by Full Frontal's Samantha Bee and The Daily Show's Jason Jones, and stars Jones, Natalie Zea, Laura Benanti, Ashley Gerasimovich, and Liam Carroll.
