NBC has canceled drama Rise after one season. The first eight episodes of the drama averaged a passable 0.86 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Rise is based on the book Drama High and was created by Jason Katims. The musical drama starred How I Met Your Mother alumni Josh Radnor, Marley Shelton, Rosie Perez, and Auli'i Cravalho. This was a correct prediction by the TV Ratings Guide.
