Man With a Plan Season 2 Episode 20 Review

The last episode of Man With a Plan put the Burnses in a rough situation, with both Adam and Andi losing their jobs. This week, I'm interested to see how they'll reverse the situation, though the return of Lisa will probably have something to do with it.

Adam and Andi have the house to themselves, and they decide to spend their time watching TV all the time. After a few days of this, they get pretty bored. They start driving each other crazy. Adam says something negative about Gilmore Girls that I'm sure he'll soon regret, and Andi says that she's sick of being around him. He's actually relieved to hear this, because he feels the same way. They decide to actually get out of the house and do something for once.

They go to dinner with Lisa to make her feel better and get Adam his job back. She leaves almost immediately because she's still too depressed and lonely. They try to fix her up with someone, because that's the only way to get her out of her funk. Adam doesn't know of anyone he hates enough to curse them with Lisa, so he reaches a bit of a dead end. Later, at the bar with Don and Lowell, Adam finds a guy that he wants to set Lisa up with. He acts really creepy, and the guy storms off. Don then tries to set up a different guy, but that goes badly too. Lowell then gets the genius idea to set her up with Leif, the model they hired for, then fired from, their commercial.

Adam and the guys meet with Leif to talk about Lisa, all while Andi and Marcy are talking with Lisa about a relationship. Things seem to be going pretty well, and they both agree to the date. Lisa arrives at the house for the date, and then things fall apart. That's because Leif and Lisa used to be married. Adam and Andi try to convince Lisa and Leif to try again, and they agree. A week later, Leif and Lisa are back together and Adam is going back to work. They decide to celebrate by watching Gilmore Girls, which is a pretty great way to celebrate if you ask me. (I knew Adam would regret that he trashed Gilmore Girls!!!)

Wrap-Up:
I really enjoyed this week's episode and thought it was one of the best in quite some time. I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit during the episode, and it resolved Adam's unemployment situation in a very satisfying way. I wouldn't have minded seeing it stretched out to the finale next week, but what they have lined up for next week seems really good, too. I also loved that Lowell actually had a purpose in this episode, because that's been a rarity this season. I missed Don though, can we make sure to never have an episode without him in it again?
