Sunday
7:00 - America's Funniest Home Videos
8:00 - Dancing with the Stars: Juniors (new!)
9:00 - Shark Tank
10:00 - The Alec Baldwin Show (new!)
To no surprise, Sundays will remain an unscripted TV show night to make way for American Idol. But The Alec Baldwin Show reminds me of The Jay Leno Show. I do not see it working out at all. And Dancing with the Stars is making way of overexposure. That may or may not kill Shark Tank in the process. Other than that, the night may get some relief once American Idol reenters midseason.

Monday
8:00 - Dancing with the Stars
10:00 - The Good Doctor
This is a good case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This schedule is good as it is.
Grade: A-
Tuesday
8:00 - Roseanne
8:30 - The Kids Are Alright (new!)
9:00 - black-ish
9:30 - Splitting Up Together
10:00 - The Rookie (new!)
Tuesday comedy remains mostly intact, with a newbie called The Kids Are Alright. This is alright, but we'll wait on Roseanne if it gets a backorder. If it doesn't due to scheduling, then this night is almost certain to collapse. The Rookie is in ABC's historic Tuesday 10pm death slot, but all signs are pointing to it becoming a hit for the network. If that's the case, then why put it in a death slot? I'm guessing it would most likely fix the time slot if it hits.

Wednesday
8:00 - The Goldbergs
8:30 - American Housewife (new time slot!)
9:00 - Modern Family
9:30 - Single Parents (new!)
10:00 - A Million Little Things (new!)
ABC better hope that Single Parents hits after a declining Modern Family, or else Wednesday will do worse than the Tuesday night lineup, and that does not bode well for A Million Little Things which will be expected to self-start. This is the third time slot move in a row for American Housewife, and I'm asking if it will stop moving after this.

Thursday
8:00 - Grey's Anatomy
9:00 - Station 19
10:00 - How to Get Away With Murder
How long must ABC go on with its declining TGIT lineup? Station 19 is not exactly hit-level, and the retention from Grey's is weak at best. Murder, for one thing, is just there as placeholder until a new drama or For the People is placed there. I give this until midseason, because ABC should cut its losses and move on to a post-Shonda ABC sooner rather than later.
Grade: C
Friday
8:00 - Fresh Off the Boat (new time slot!)
8:30 - Speechless (new time slot!)
9:00 - Child Support (new time slot!)
10:00 - 20/20
It's the return of TGIF (sort of)! ABC has put comedy back on Fridays to go against FOX's Last Man Standing and The Cool Kids. The rest of the lineup is unscripted, but I think this will arguably pull in higher ratings than what genre Fridays have been pulling. But I personally would rather put Shark Tank back in the game.

And with Saturday Night Football ruling ABC, this has been my analysis of the schedule for ABC. Let's discuss away in the comments section to see what ABC can improve.
