CBS Pulls the Plug on Code Black, Cancels Series After 3 Seasons

After three seasons, CBS has finally decided that it's time to discharge Code Black. The decision was announced by series created Michael Seitzman. The veteran medical drama has never been a big hit for CBS, but did respectably in its first two seasons. The show returned just a few weeks ago and hasn't done very well, though it did retain its SEAL Team lead-in pretty decently. Alas, that was not enough for Marcia Gay Harden's medical drama to be renewed. Rounding out the cast are Luis Guzman, Boris Kodjoe, and Rob Lowe. This was a correct prediction for the TV Ratings Guide.
