CBS easily destroyed its competition with The Big Bang Theory (3.6) returning up from its last result. As usual, the monster momentum disappears when the clock hits 8:30 as The Great Indoors (1.9) shed half of that result, nevertheless, it still tied it's series high so that's a plus. The night continued with a strong Mom (1.7) and Life in Pieces (1.4) both performing well enough but Pure Genius (0.8) continued to be a wet blanket at 10.
ABC had a great filler night with The Great American Baking Show (1.0) inching up at 8 and a highly anticipated Menendez Brothers special (1.6) justifying all the advertising that ABC gave it.
NBC had a lower night with the return of Superstore (1.2) and The Good Place (1.0), both on the low end of their typical results but still nothing terrible. The comedies led into the dramas, Chicago Med (1.2) and The Blacklist (1.0), both also down from their last results.
FOX brought Hell's Kitchen (1.2/1.1) to Thursday and it paid off as it managed to beat all its Friday ratings this season and did about the same as NBC.
The CW continued on with repeats of Legends of Tomorrow (0.3) and Supernatural (0.2).
