Andrew and
Edison sit at a table eating.
EDISON
You know what
we should do?
ANDREW
What?
EDISON
We should
start a business.
ANDREW
What?
EDISON
Something
small. Make a little cash.
ANDREW
And what
exactly do you think we should sell?
EDISON
I don’t know.
Lemonade?
ANDREW
Lemonade?
EDISON
Yeah or
something else.
ANDREW
You keep
thinking of ideas.
Calvin appears
at their table.
CALVIN
Hey guys.
EDISON
Hey.
ANDREW
Hey.
CALVIN
So my
fraternity is throwing a huge party tonight and I mean huge.
EDISON
How huge?
CALVIN
Let’s just say
that students from other universities will be attending.
EDISON
Whoa.
CALVIN
Now it is
exclusive but I got you two and Brittaney in.
EDISON
Yes!
CALVIN
No problem.
Anything for my girlfriend’s friends. If there’s anyone else you want on the
list let me know.
EDISON
Will do.
Calvin leaves.
EDISON
This day is
probably the best day of my life since I saw my first playboy magazine.
ANDREW
And how old
were you?
EDISON
Seven.
ANDREW
That explains
so much.
EDISON
So you wanna
meet in the dorm after classes and head there together?
ANDREW
I haven’t even
decided if I’m going.
EDISON
What is there
to decide? We just got an exclusive invite to probably the biggest party we’ll
ever attend and you have to think about it?
ANDREW
Fine I’ll go.
Happy?
EDISON

LITERATURE CLASS - DAY
Andrew enters
the class and sits next to Gabby.
ANDREW
Hey.
GABBY
Hey. Have you
heard about Sigma Alpha’s party?
ANDREW
Yeah. I’m
going.
GABBY
You got
invited?
ANDREW
Yeah. You
wanna go? I can get you in if you want?
GABBY
Yes please.

& EDISON’S DORM - NIGHT
Andrew buttons
up a nice shirt. Edison ties his shoelaces.
EDISON
Brittaney
texted me. She and Sarah are gonna meet us downstairs in the lobby.
ANDREW
Gabby’s gonna
meet us there also.
EDISON
You invited
Gabby?
ANDREW
Yeah.
EDISON
Man you really
are moving fast.
ANDREW
Well after
what happened with Sarah, I’m not taking any chances.
EDISON
So what? Are
you gonna ask her out at the party?
ANDREW
I’m gonna get
to know her better.
EDISON
That’s
actually a good idea.
ANDREW
Actually?
INT. DORM
BUILDING LOBBY - NIGHT
Brittaney
looks at her phone.
BRITTANEY
Edison says
they’re on their way down.
Gabby enters
the dorm building.
GABBY
Hey. You’re
Andrew’s friends right.
BRITTANEY
Yes. And you
are…?
SARAH
Gabby, right?
GABBY
Yeah. Andrew
and I have Literature together. He got me in the party.
SARAH
Well I’m glad
you can join us.
The elevator
dings and Andrew and Edison exit the elevator. Edison kisses Brittaney.
ANDREW
Hey.
SARAH & GABBY
Hey.
INT. SIGMA PHI
FRATERNITY HOUSE - NIGHT
Andrew, Gabby,
Edison, and Brittaney enter the Sigma Phi fraternity house. It is crowded. The
lights are dimmed and bright colorful strobe lights flash. People are talking,
laughing, dancing, cheering, and drinking. The music is loud.
Calvin walks
up to the gang.
CALVIN
Y’all ready to
party?
EDISON
Yes!
CALVIN
Let’s turn the
music up!
The partygoers
cheer.
The gang
parties. Edison drinks and does jello shots. Brittaney does the same. Sarah and
Calvin dance. Andrew stands near the food table. Gabby joins him.
GABBY
Not a partier?
ANDREW
Is is that
obvious?
GABBY
Well you're
not dancing and by the looks of it, your cup is either full of water or you
have a serious Vodka problem.
Andrew and
Gabby laugh.
ANDREW
Yeah well
seeing how much Edison is drinking, I have a feeling that I need to be the
sober one.
Andrew takes a
sip from his cup.
GABBY
You wanna make
out?
ANDREW
{Choking}
What?
Gabby smiles
and takes Andrew’s hand. The two of them walk down the hall and enter a closet.
Sarah sees this.
INT. CLOSET -
NIGHT
Andrew and
Gabby stand facing each other in the closet. Gabby starts kissing Andrew.
Andrew kisses her back.
INT. SIGMA PHI
FRATERNITY HOUSE - NIGHT
Sarah refills
her cup. Brittaney comes up next to her.
BRITTANEY
I just had to
stop Edison from eating a tide pod.
SARAH
Are Andrew and
Gabby a couple?
BRITTANEY
What?
SARAH
Are they
together?
BRITTANEY
I just met
her. She seems nice. Why do you care?
SARAH
I’m just
looking out for my friend.
BRITTANEY
Or maybe it’s
because you like Andrew.
SARAH
What? No. Why
would you think that?
BRITTANEY
Edison told me
that you and Andrew kissed.
SARAH
Yes. We did.
But I’m with Calvin. Andrew and I are just friends.
BRITTANEY
Uh huh ok.
SARAH
We are.
BRITTANEY
Ok.
Cut to Edison
getting a soda from a cooler.
PAUL
Drink too
much?
EDISON
Paul?
PAUL
Edison.
EDISON
What’re doing
here?
PAUL
This is a huge
party. I’m not gonna miss it.
EDISON
Neither would
I.
PAUL
So… you and
Brittaney?
EDISON
What about me
and Brittaney?
PAUL
I’m gonna cut
to the chase. I know you’re the reason Brittaney broke up with me.
EDISON
Really? Cause
I thought it was because you sucked face with another girl.
PAUL
Yeah well I
ended that. I’m gonna win Brittaney back.
Edison laughs.
EDISON
Sure you are.
Paul steps
closer to Edison.
PAUL
I’m coming for
you.
Paul smiles
and leaves. Edison looks shaken.
INT. CLOSET -
NIGHT
Andrew and
Gabby are making out. Andrew pulls back.
ANDREW
So what
exactly is this?
GABBY
I don’t know.
I think you’re kinda cute.
ANDREW
So is this
gonna be a thing?
GABBY
Do you want it
to be a thing?
ANDREW
Yesssss?
GABBY
Well then ok.
Gabby and
Andrew start kissing again.
