Per the Instagram of cast member January Jones, FOX has canceled post-apocalyptic comedy The Last Man on Earth. The series will not return for a fifth season. The series aired in the Sundays at 9:30 timeslot for each of its four seasons. It surprised as a midseason entry in its first season, but its ratings have declined over the course of its second, third, and fourth seasons. However, its fate this year was still very uncertain.
