(P) = premiere

ABC offered up the 2-hr premiere of 'Agents of SHIELD' (0.7). It was significantly below last year's 1.1, but still improved a bit from recent 'Once Upon a Time' episodes. '20/20' (0.5) lost a tenth at 10.

Over on CBS, 'MacGyver' (0.8) and 'Hawaii Five-0' (0.9) each inched down from their last episodes. 'Blue Bloods' was steady at 0.9.

NBC's 'Blindspot' (0.7) inched up and was the only show of the night to rise. 'Dateline' (0.9) was steady at 9.

Fox's 'Hell's Kitchen' (0.7) took an alarming two-tenth dip and hit a new season low. 'The Exorcist' (0.4) stayed in disaster territory.

Despite the networks airing Christmas specials last week, The CW decided to air 'Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer' (0.3) last night. It was a tenth above the average 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'. At 9, an original 'Masters of Illusion' (0.2) had a weaker result.
