Below are the latest renew/cancel predictions for the Fox network in the 2023-24 television season. The numbers listed in the table mark the Nielsen rating low, average, and high for each respective program in the Adults 18-49 demographic. The "Y2Y (year-to-year) Change" column denotes how much the series has risen or fallen when compared to its average from the previous season. Because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, there is a limited amount of scripted programming this fall. As a result, reality television will now be included in this column.

The Simpsons: 'The Simpsons' returned to the Fox network with a strong 1.08 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic for its season 35 premiere. Though this was only possible thanks to the NFL boost, 'Krapopolis' (0.88) performed noticeably worse with more football help in the same time slot. This series may not impress from a Nielsen standpoint like it used to, but it is clear that NFL viewers are more likely to stick around for 'Simpsons' when compared to other fare. This is probably one of the many reasons why the series has already been Renewed through 2025. Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa have a home on the Fox network for the foreseeable future.

Krapopolis: 'Krapopolis' (0.51) made the move to 8:30 p.m. but retained less than half of its 'Simpsons' lead-in for its time slot premiere. Even though it has already been Renewed, this program is clearly not a great fit for the 'Animation Domination' block. If a 0.5 rating is the best this series can do on a night when NFL protects the cartoons, it is in for a tough time on October 8th when it will air without football help for the first time.

Bob's Burgers: On premiere night, 'Bob's Burgers' was about a tenth lower than 'Krapopolis', coming in with a 0.39 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Like the other shows in the block, 'Bob's' was Renewed before the season began. Though it seems to have weakened in recent years, this is another Fox staple that will not be leaving anytime soon.

Family Guy: 'Family Guy' is clearly the strongest of the four cartoons and has been Renewed, but Fox continues to waste its power by placing it in the 9:30 p.m. time slot. As a result, the series only managed a 0.31 rating out the gate. It has been four years since 'Family Guy' aired in the 9 p.m. slot regularly, and the lineup would be better off having it as an anchor again.

Hell's Kitchen: After returning with an underwhelming 0.29 rating for its September launch, 'Hell's Kitchen' surged to a 0.37 in week two. This type of growth is quite impressive since most shows tend to decline significantly from their premieres. 'Hell's Kitchen' is Certain to be Renewed and really shows how durable Gordon Ramsay's library of programming is.

Welcome to Flatch: Fox finally decided to cancel 'Welcome to Flatch' after two seasons on October 6, 2023. This is a correct prediction for this column. Long-time readers will remember that the series was in the Likely to be Canceled section throughout the 2022-23 television season. A reader poll from April 2023 shows that a slight majority (53%) expected cancellation, while 47% expected a renewal.
