Wednesday TV Ratings 10/4/23: Quantum Leap and Magnum P.I. Return Up, Sullivan’s Crossing and The Spencer Sisters Have Respectable Starts

Ratings Analysis: 'Quantum Leap' (0.31) and 'Magnum PI' (0.32) were both up from their respective finales (0.28/0.25) on NBC, but neither premiere could compete with the likes of 'Survivor' or 'The Masked Singer'. The 10 p.m. hour was occupied by a 'Chicago Fire' repeat (0.16). 'Sullivan's Crossing' (0.06) and 'The Spencer Sisters' (0.06) had respectable starts by the CW's low standards. CBS's 'Survivor' (0.78, -0.06) took a hit, but 'The Amazing Race' (0.39, +0.03) actually built on last week's premiere. 'The Masked Singer' (0.52, -0.02) and 'Snake Oil' (0.33, -0.06) declined on the Fox network. 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' (0.38, -0.08) and 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (0.34, -0.06) crashed on ABC, while 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.29, -0.02) took a more modest dip.
