A sitcom from Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans, Jr. titled Poppa’s House has been ordered to series by CBS. This show was arguably their most high-profile comedy pilot, in development since October. It comes from CBS Studios and is set to star co-creator Damon Wayans and executive producer Daymon Wayans, Jr alongside Essence Atkins and Tetona Jackson. Here is the full synopsis for Poppa’s House:
Multi-camera comedy which revolves around legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Wayans), who has to drag his grown son (Wayans Jr.), who has all his charm and none of his drive, kicking and screaming into adulthood before he turns 40.
