CBS has ordered The Good Wife spin-off Elsbeth to series. This is the second spinoff of The Good Wife, the first being the CBS All Access/Paramount+ original The Good Fight. It is set to star Cara Patterson, Carrie Preston, and Wendell Pierce, and will be produced by CBS Studios.

After her successful career in Chicago, Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston), an astute but unconventional attorney, utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. Based on the character featured in The Good Wife and The Good Fight.
