Saturday TV Ratings 5/27/23: NHL Playoffs Rise, MLB Down, 48 Hours Repeat is Top Non-Sports Program (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's broadcast of the NHL Playoffs (0.49) was the night's highest-rated telecast in the Adults 18-49 demographic and led the alphabet network to another Saturday win. On Fox, 'MLB: Regional Coverage' (0.31) was nearly a tenth lower than the week prior (0.40) but outrated everything on the non-ABC networks. In terms of non-sports programming, it was CBS's '48 Hours' rerun (0.16) that served as the highest-rated of the bunch. The newsmagazine series outpaced the encores of 'CSI: Vegas' (0.13) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.11) that aired before it.
