The show was NBC's first sitcom since Superstore to receive a full season, and their first freshman comedy to receive a twenty-two episode order since The Michael J. Fox Show in 2013 (that show did not air its full order, being pulled with seven episodes left to go). NBC highlighted its streaming performance when they announced the full season order, and also noted the show's strength among Hispanic viewers, two factors that also likely assisted in the renewal.
