Just one day after the renewal of Abbott Elementary, another of broadcast TV's top comedies has secured a third seasons for itself. Ghosts, the CBS sitcom that broke out last season and has remained just as strong this season, has been renewed. It joins Young Sheldon, the other half of CBS's Thursday comedy hour, as the only comedy renewed by CBS for next season, and is one of six CBS renewals in total. With a 0.56 average, the show trails only Young Sheldon among TV comedies this season, and is said to average over 11 million viewers in total with delayed multiplatform viewing added in (CBS has not disclosed a demo rating for the series as of yet). Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Rebecca Wisocky, Brandon Scott Jones (who received two Critics Choice Awards nominations for the series), Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Richie Moriarty, Sheila Carrasco, Devan Chandler Long and Román Zaragoza make up the principal cast of the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
