Wednesday, the latest adaptation of the iconic Addams Family franchise, has been renewed for a second season by Netflix. The series was released before Thanksgiving and quickly racked up massive viewership totals for Netflix, becoming one of the most popular series in their history. It was the most-watched first season of an English language show, with viewer totals only coming in behind the fourth season of the massive Stranger Things. Jenna Ortega leads the cast of the series, receiving a Golden Globe nomination for her performance, with the show also receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Comedy Series. Christina Ricci, Gwendoline Christie, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman and Hunter Doohan also appear in key roles alongside Ortega.
