La Brea has been handed an early renewal, just in time for its midseason premiere tonight. The sci-fi drama has been a middling performer for NBC this season with a 0.39 average, but is said to perform well on streaming and performs inline with the already-renewed Quantum Leap. Natalie Zea stars in the series alongside Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo. The third season will run for six episodes, with the possibility of an extension down the line.
