Thanksgiving Daytime Ratings 2022: Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Slightly Down from 2021, Cowboys/Giants NFL Game Gargantuan

It was a busy Thanksgiving, with three networks having huge event programming during the daytime hours- all crossing the coveted 1.0 mark in the key demo. NBC had the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, as well as the National Dog Show, with both sporting minor declines from 2021 - smaller declines, percentage-wise, than we've seen from primetime scripted programming this season. Fox had a pair of World Cup game, but their star attraction was a massive Giants/Cowboys NFL game later in the afternoon. CBS also broadcast the parade, but was far less successful, and also had an NFL game, and was also far less successful (though it was still massive).
