Saturday TV Ratings 11/5/22: SNL Hits Another Season High, World Series Slightly Down in Series Closer, Notre Dame/Clemson Game Takes Second in Primetime (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: On Fox, the sixth and final game of the 'World Series' (2.93, -0.03) dipped a touch from game five (2.96) but was still the second highest-rated of the 2022 games. NBC's 'Clemson v. Notre Dame' college football game (0.63) took second-place in the 8PM hour and led into a new episode of 'Saturday Night Live' (0.79, +0.04). Though 'SNL' had host Amy Schumer and musical guest Steve Lacy on deck, it was likely the football boost that helped it inch up to a new season high. CBS had football-inflated reruns of 'East New York' (0.32) and '48 Hours' (0.25) that definitely helped the 10'o clock '48 Hours' original (0.29, +0.12) grow by a substantial amount. ABC's 'FL St. v. Miami' college football broadcast (0.37) noticeably lagged behind the peacock network's game. The CW's 'Criss Angel's Magic with the Stars' (0.05, +0.01) ticked up while 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.04, 0.00) held flat.

Finals Update: '2022 World Series Game 6' (+0.8), 'College Football: FL St v Miami' (+0.1), and '48 Hours' (+0.1) adjusted up.
