Whose Line Is It Anyway? to End CW Run

The CW's longest-running program is reaching its end. Amid a change in network ownership and a massive programming overhaul, venerable sketch comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway? will soon wrap its run. Colin Mochrie, who has starred in the series since its 1998 debut (when the show aired on ABC), announced the news today on Twitter.

The CW has yet to confirm the news, and it is unknown how many episodes will be filmed during the final filming dates or when the final season will air. Alongside Mochrie, the show stars Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady, and is hosted by Aisha Tyler. These final episodes will take the show to at least a twentieth season overall, and a twelfth season in its CW revival run. In its most recent season, Whose Line? remained a solid CW performer with a 0.06 average on Friday nights, above most recent occupants on the night.
