Monday TV Ratings 9/1/25: College Football Dominates for Bill Belichick’s Debut, American Ninja Warrior and Survival Mode End Down, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Repeat Tops Broadcast [+ Analysis]

ESPN's college football broadcast led the way on Monday night, with a strong 1.62 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic. On NBC, American Ninja Warrior (0.19, -0.03) and Survival Mode (0.14, -0.02) were both down for their respective season finales. ABC aired reruns of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (0.24/0.17/0.12). CBS went with encores of The Neighborhood (0.23/0.19), FBI (0.20), and Watson (0.17). LEGO Masters Jr. (0.15, -0.01) ticked down on Fox. Sunday TV Ratings 8/31/25: Big Brother Drops, College Football Dominates with Notre Dame/Miami Matchup, The Chicken Sisters and Dexter: Resurrection Rise [+ Analysis]

After weeks of Nielsen ratings dominance, CBS's Big Brother (0.59) gave up the top spot, coming in two full points below ABC's college football broadcast (2.59). Meanwhile, Fox's women's college volleyball broadcast (0.11) barely beat NBC reruns of American Ninja Warrior (0.10) and America's Got Talent (0.09). Saturday TV Ratings 8/30/25: College Football Dominates with LSU/Clemson Season Opener, MLB on Fox Falls to Third, Catch of the Day Decent for Hallmark [+ Analysis]

College football dominated on Saturday night, with ABC's LSU v. Clemson game (2.51) demolishing NBC's game (0.46). Fox's MLB broadcast (0.29) placed third in the Adults 18-49 demographic.
