What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and HBO Max from December 14-December 20

It was another busy week on streaming, despite the lack of any prominent premieres. Several hit series aired their finales this week, and several aired their final episodes before taking a holiday hiatus. Keep reading to see how the Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and HBO Max charts looked this week!

Hulu:

It was an odd week on Hulu, with some unusual entries topping the chart this time around. The Kardashians has been a strong performer on Hulu throughout its run, and that continued, with three days at #1 this week. General Hospital is the  sort of show that often takes advantage of these lulls in programming, rising to the top when the competition is muted. It was the same this week, as the iconic daytime soap rose to #2 for two days this week. Both of those series that topped the chart for multiple days were also on the top fifteen chart the entire week. Also topping the chart, for a single day, was ABC's special about the tragic death of Hollywood legend Rob Reiner, one of the defining news stories of the week. The special, produced and aired at the last minute on Tuesday night on ABC, has spent three days on the chart so far. The week closed out with Next Level Baker at #1 for the final week of its short run. While a linear ratings bust, the Gordon Ramsay series has performed very well on Hulu, even before its chart-topping performance this week. It spent the entire week in the top fifteen, strongly outperforming Hell's Kitchen, which charted four days. ABC's schedule was pretty barren this week, but Abbott Elementary kept their scripted department represented with an appearance each day of the last week. Shifting Gears charted one day. ABC's holiday programming also charted, with the Kevin Costner special The First Christmas charting every day and the Jingle Ball charting one day at #11. Shows outside of primetime also charted, with ABC World News charting one day and Jimmy Kimmel Live charting twice, the first time it's been seen on the chart since the host returned from a controversial suspension. Fox had a few more programs on the air this week than ABC. In addition to having their first chart-topping series in several months in Next Level Baker, The Floor also wrapped its run, and charted five days, with a seasons' best #4 peak. Bob's Burgers charted six days and peaked at #3, while The Simpsons again charted one day, this time at #9. Universal Basic Guys and Krapopolis were still nowhere to be found. The long-ended Fox drama Fringe made a brief and shocking appearance on the chart this week, gracing the chart for two days.

Disney+:

It's a thrilling time for TV shows on Disney+: after months of TV being essentially irrelevant on the service, they now have two strong shows fighting for the top spot on their recently-reintroduced TV chart. The Greek gods were no match for pop superstar Taylor Swift this week, as her docuseries The End of an Era topped the chart five days of this week, versus two days for Percy Jackson & The Olympians. The two series were consistently the top two offerings on Disney+ for the entire week. most of the other top programs were cartoons, including Bluey, a Zootopia series, a Trolls holiday special that initially aired on NBC, and several holiday-themed Mickey Mouse programs. All's Fair charted all week, despite having ended its season on December 9th. It peaked at #6 this week. Next Level Baker continued to perform very well on streaming, peaking at #3 and charting all week. It was the only regularly-scheduled broadcast show making an appearance on the Disney+ chart this week. ABC's Rob Reiner special was the only other broadcast representation, also peaking at #3 and charting for all three days since its airing. Animated programs weren't the only festive TV offerings making an appearance this week, as FX's 2019 adaptation of A Christmas Carol charted five days, and The Santa Clauses made an appearance for one day at the end of the week. On the film chart, the top three looked identical all week, with The Santa Clause at #2, sandwiched between the two Home Alone films. Fox much of the week, it was The Santa Clause 2 charting at #4, though The Eras Tour - The Final Show topped it the first day of the week and The Polar Express beat it on the last day of the week. Mickey's Once and Twice Upon a Christmas and Christmas Vacation both charted all week, while the animated Jim Carrey version of A Christmas Carol charted four days, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw charted three, and Avatar: The Way of Water charted two.

Peacock:

Bel-Air ended last week, leaving Bravo shows as one of the few ongoing draws for Peacock. It never looked more like Bravo+ at the top of the chart than it did this week, with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules combining to give Bravo five days atop the chart, with Bel-Air breaking back through to top it the other two days. Bel-Air ultimately ended the week at #6 on the chart, its lowest performance since its final season premiere, though its decline is certainly understandable. Fellow Peacock scripted original All Her Fault departed the chart after making two appearances this week, its first time out of the top ten since its debut a month and a half ago. RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules weren't the only Bravo shows on the chart this week - Real Housewives of Potomac and Salt Lake City also charted, as did Southern Charm and Married to Medicine. E!'s unscripted series Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane made its first appearance on the Peacock chart this week, spending three days in the top ten. Most NBC shows still on the air wrapped up this week for the remainder of 2025. St. Denis Medical performed the best, but this was still easily its worst performance of its run. After never previously dropping out of the top ten during its second season, it charted only our days this week, and peaked at a lower #7. Happy's Place charted two days, but peaked higher than any other NBC show at #4. Stumble charted just one day at #7. After a troublesome season overall, The Voice ended with a decent showing on streaming, charting four days and peaking at #5. Dateline NBC performed the same.

Paramount+:

After sharing the top spot with South Park last week, this week was a clean sweep for Landman. The Taylor Sheridan hit was #1 all week., never wavering from the top spot. South Park was right behind it for the majority of the week, but. Mayor of Kingstown was runner-up for the first two days of the week, with the fellow Taylor Sheridan creation ranking in the top five all week. Given that it ended weeks ago, Tulsa King's continued presence on the chart remains impressive, as it peaked at #4 and never dropped beneath eighth place. Five different CBS series tied each other to be the highest-peaking series from the network on Paramount+ this week: Tracker, FBI, NCIS, Ghosts and Fire Country all topped out at #3 on the chart this week. NCIS was the only show from that group to chart the entire week - Ghosts charted six days, Tracker charted five days, while FBI and Fire Country charted four. Survivor charted for one day at #5 as it wrapped its 49th run. Georgie & Mandy performed the same for its midseason finale. Elsbeth charted a single day at #10, with Boston Blue performing the same. Sheriff Country trailed its parent show this week, peaking at #4 and charting three days. The Road and Watson were CBS's only series to miss the chart this week. Paramount+ original Little Disasters was released in a binge format last week, but made a surprising return to the chart or one day this week at #10.

HBO Max:

It was possibly HBO Max's final week with IT: Welcome to Derry dominating the top spot, as the series wrapped its first season this week, spending another six days at #1 before being dethroned by Heated Rivalry on Saturday again. Saturday was just the second day during IT's run in which it was not the top TV offering on HBO Max. Heated Rivalry had its best week of its run thus far. In addition to the aforementioned day at #1, its worst showing was a single day at #3 on the chart, with five days as the #2 show on HBO Max. The only show besides IT to ever topple it this week was I Love LA, which tied its all-time peak of #2 for a single day this week, and went nearly an entire week without dropping out of the top five. Mad Men continues its extremely strong run on HBO Max - it still hasn't slipped below the #8 position it debuted in when it was added to HBO Max nearly three weeks ago, and this week, its worst day saw it hit #4 on the chart, making this its best week thus far. It's Florida, Man also had its best week of tis second season, peaking at #4 and charting four days. Hard Knocks charted five days this week, peaking at #5. While it ended a few weeks ago, Smiling Friends continues to chart, spending five days on the chart this week after slipping out of the top ten or the first time since it debuted its third season. Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake charted twice this week, peaking at #4. Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship charted five days this week, peaking at #6. Sweet Empire made its first appearance on the chart this week at #9. Other cable series on the chart included the 90 Day Fiancé series, Gold Rush, and Baylen Out Loud.
