NBC won the night once again against little competition. America's Got Talent, the top show of the summer, took a hit to a 1.3, a tenth below last week and in-line with episode two of the season. It grew steadily over the two hours, with 1.2s in the 8 PM hour and 1.3/1.4 in the nine o'clock block. At 10, World of Dance rose to 0.9. With 1.0/0.8 halves, a downward adjustment may occur.
ABC had a special encore presentation of the acclaimed documentary Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1882-92, in response to the protests against police brutality following the murder of George Floyd. It drew a 0.5, up a tenth across the board from last week's Conners/Modern Family repeats. At 10, The Genetic Detective was stable at 0.4 for the fourth straight week.
The CW was steady t eight with a 0.2 for DC's Stargirl. At 9, their CW Happy Hour continued with Marina Franklin: Single Black Female, declining to an iconic 0.0 Blutarsky rating, only seen twice before by the CW. With 0.0/0.0 halves, this one has a strong chance of remaining at the Blutarsky.
CBS had repeats at 0.5/0.4/0.4, with the only change being that the 10 PM FBI: Most Wanted encore topped last week's Gayle King special.
Fox saw a 0.4 and a 0.3 for repeats of Gordon Ramsay properties Hell's Kitchen and 24 Hours, respectively. Hours was down while Hell's was steady.
Finals Update: The repeat of NCIS (-0.1) adjusted down.
