Raymond Island Renewed by TVRGO

Two days after the premiere of the new Marietta spinoff, Raymond Island, our original series production company TVRGO has ordered a second season of the series. Written by our longtime writer Rebecca Bunch, who also writes TVRGO's Marietta, Our House, Bake Your Heart Out and new series Frances In the Kitchen, the series centers on Gretchen Raymond, and embattled and unpopular governor of Rhode Island who encounters many issues, both politically and in her personal life. The pilot of the series was The TV Ratings Guide's most-viewed post that was originally posted in the last week. In addition to the season two pickup, a holiday special has also been ordered to air in December. An episode count for season two has not been determined, but is likely to be longer than season one's nine episodes. You can read the pilot here.
