Reprisal and Harlots Canceled by Hulu

Two original drama series have been canceled by Hulu.
Reprisal debuted its first and only season on December 6, 2019. There was no news on the series since then, though there were reports of it being quietly canceled. That cancellation is now official.  Abigail Spencer, Rodrigo Santoro, Mena Massoud, Madison Davenport, Rory Cochrane and Lea DeLaria starred in the series, which focused on a femme fatale who, after being left for dead, leads a campaign against the gang of gearheads who wronged her.

Harlots debuted in March 2017 and ran for three episodes, consisting of twenty-four episodes overall. The series was a co-production with England's ITV Encore. It was set in the 1760s in London, centering on the city's brothels, which are being targeted by religious evangelists for closure. Lead character Margaret Wells moves her brothel in an effort to improve her life and the lives of her employees, which ends up putting her in a conflict with a rival madame. Samantha Morton, Lesley Manville, Jessica Brown Findlay, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Dorothy Atkinson and Liv Tyler starred in the series.
