NBC Pushes Multiple Pilots to 2021-22 Development Slate

NBC has pushed five pilots to theit 2021-22 development slate, opting against ordering them for next season. Teh five pilots were a part of the 2020-21 pilot season, but were unable to film due to the COVID-19 crisis. All other NBC pilots remain in contention. The pushed pilots include two dramas and three comedies and are as followed:

In sci-fi procedural Echo, a team of investigators solve the highest-profile crimes by sending heroes into the past, in the body of the victim. They assume the victim’s identity and must race against time to prevent the crime before it happens. Janina Gavankar, Reid Scott, Richard Brooks and Wesam Keesh were set to star in the series.

At That Age is a family soap, in which the Cooper family’s golden child suffers a catastrophic event, causing seven family members to face a foundational shift, make life-altering decisions and deal with deep secrets coming to light. Emayatzy Corinealdi and Christian Keyes are attached to star.

Romantic comedy Someone Out There featured two set-in-their-ways adults that are challenged by very unexpected strangers to become the best versions of themselves in order to find love and possibly each other. Ryan Hansen, Aimee Carrero, Neil Casey and Matt Hubbard were set to star.

Comedy Jefferies centered on a comedian who has a unique and frequently controversial take on life, relationships and co-parenting with his best friend. It is created by Jim Jefferies, who would have starred in it alongside Anthony LaPaglia, Betsy Brandt, Darien Sills-Evans and Mike Lane.

Comedy Crazy for You is produced by Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers, and follows Daisy, who re-enters the dating scene only to realize that while she was out of the game, the game completely changed. Realizing that she's a bit rusty at being “normal” and “appealing” on first dates, she’ll need the support of her friends as she strives to succeed while being her true self in today’s dating culture. Shelley Hennig, Tiana Okoye, Nick Cafero and Alice Lee were signed on to star.
