Back from a nine-month hiatus, NBC's 'Hollywood Game Night' (0.3) delivered a very meager result for its season debut. The Jane Lynch game show cemented a new series low, going below any result from last season and garnering just half the audience that watched a May 2020 special (0.6). Although not much is expected for shows shoved into the little-viewed 7pm hour, this certainly illustrates that little interest is left for the veteran series. 'Game Night' was followed by repeats of 'Titan Games' (0.3) and 'America's Got Talent' (0.5).
ABC's 'Celebrity Family Feud' (0.9) managed to gain a tenth from last week's premiere, simultaneously topping the night. But the gap between it and the other two game shows increased as 'Press Your Luck' (0.6) and 'Match Game' (0.5) both shed a tenth despite the 'Feud' increase. 'AFV' (0.6) held steady in the 7pm hour.
CBS had a special episode of '60 Minutes' (0.6) leading into a '60' repeat (0.4) and a decently-rated showing of 'Grease Sing-Along' (0.5). Fox had a sports-inflated repeat of 'Last Man Standing' (0.5) leading into cartoon encores (0.3/0.3/0.2/0.3/0.3). 'Bless the Harts' (0.2) in particular stuck out like a sore thumb given all the other toons managed a slightly stronger 0.3. The CW had 'Stargirl' (0.1) and 'Supergirl' (0.1) repeats.
Finals Update: Repeats of Last Man Standing (-0.1) and America's Got Talent (-0.1) adjusted down.
