Welcome to the final Schedulogy of the 2025-26 TV season, where we predict the fall 2026 schedules of each broadcast network. New shows are marked in bold, while shows changing time slots are italicized. Let us know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned for the networks to unveil their official schedules this week!
ABCABC has been light on new fall offerings in recent years. This fall 2026 prediction offers viewers zero new shows. In fact, the only change from the fall 2025 schedule is the Wednesday at 9 pm time slot.
With the last-minute renewal of R.J. Decker and no decision made regarding ABC's sole drama pilot, The Rookie North, it is predicted that ABC expands scripted hours on their fall 2026 schedule to include the sophomore drama in the Wednesdays at 9 pm time slot. This also comes as fall 2025 time slot occupant, The Golden Bachelorette, has not been announced as returning. While R.J. Decker would potentially benefit from not having to spend 8 months off the air like Will Trent and The Rookie, this also leaves it on an island thematically, airing between a comedy hour and an unscripted hour.
The Tim Allen-led Shifting Gears is predicted to reclaim its lead-off spot on Wednesdays, leaving the Scrubs revival on the bench. By and large, this is nearly the same schedule as the 2025-26 TV season.
Much of ABC's schedule is practically guaranteed to stay the same. Monday Night Football and Saturday Night Football have locked down those respective nights, with 20/20, Dancing with the Stars, and The Wonderful World of Disney very unlikely to change as well. That leaves very little space to make schedule moves, though it could happen if they wish to bring more than one midseason drama to fall.
FOX
While they could theoretically move shows, our official prediction is they swap out Monday's fall 2025 unscripted duo of Celebrity Name That Tune and Celebrity Weakest Link for a scripted night. It would start with Baywatch, airing in the time slot where 9-1-1: Lone Star recently thrived (for FOX's standards), and lead into their new Stephen Fry-starring drama The Interrogator.
This schedule puts several scripted shows on the bench: dramas Memory Of A Killer and Best Medicine, comedy Animal Control, and cartoons Family Guy, American Dad!, and Grimsburg. Given FOX will have eight half-hour series to schedule next season, it's not unreasonable to assume many if not all will all cycle through Sunday nights at one point or another given the smaller episode orders.
NBC
After picking up several new shows, NBC is predicted to make more changes than ABC and FOX. The fall schedule prediction sees two new shows, with additional shows changing time slots.
The NBC-tailored civilian version of The Traitors, confusingly titled The Traitors, is predicted to be slotted into both the Mondays at 8 pm time slot and the Tuesdays at 9 pm time slot. That leads into The Voice, which is not italicized given its spring cycle aired in the Mondays 9-11 pm time slot. Still, that is a time slot change from fall 2025, when it aired from 8-10.
On Tuesdays, the second night of The Traitors is predicted to be sandwiched between the second night of The Voice, and the first night of Destination X. Come late October, all three will be replaced by Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, NBC's official title for their NBA package.
New Peter Krause-starring drama Line of Fire is predicted to take the Thursdays at 8 pm time slot. This shifts Law & Order to 10 pm, the same time slot where the now-canceled Law & Order: Organized Crime aired in fall 2025.
Come November, two comedy blocks are predicted to premiere: one on Mondays and one on Fridays. The Monday block has St. Denis Medical leading into new single-cam Sunset. P.I. in the 8 pm hour, while the Friday block has Happy's Place leading into new multi-cam Newlyweds in the lead-off hour. New drama The Rockford Files is also predicted to premiere in November, airing Mondays at 10 pm with a one-hour The Voice airing in between the comedy block and The Rockford Files.
Saturday and Sunday are locked in for football on NBC's schedule, and Wednesday is predicted to remain occupied by Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD.
