The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins hasn't fallen yet. NBC has renewed the Tracy Morgan-led freshman sitcom for a second season of ten episodes, the same episode count as its first season. Reggie Dinkins was NBC's highest-rated series in the key 18-49 demo, with a 0.38 average, though that was heavily inflated by a post-NFL premiere. Without the NFL lead-in, it averaged 0.27 in the demo, knocking the show down to seventh among NBC's scripted programming - still above comedy Happy's Place, the lowest-rated scripted series to earn a renewal on NBC so far this season. The renewal comes less than a week after the cancellation of Stumble, NBC's other freshman sitcom from this season, which boasted a significantly lower 0.17 average. Reggie Dinkins comes from a creative team that includes creator Robert Carlock and executive producer Tina Fey, who have lengthy working relationships with NBC.
