RJ Decker Renewed by ABC

ABC will officially bring back all of its scripted series from the 2025-26 TV season, as freshman drama RJ Decker has been renewed for a second season. The series was ABC's lowest-rated show, with a 0.18 demo average in its first season, but its multiplatform performance was promising enough for ABC to give the series a second chance. Its pilot episode drew over 15 million viewers in MP+35 viewing, ABC's most-watched 10 PM drama launch in over five years. Despite the strong launch on streaming, the show was a more modest linear ratings performer, slipping as low as 0.13 in the key demo, leaving the show's ultimate fate in doubt until the very end. RJ Decker stars Scott Speedman in the titular role, alongside Jana Lee Ortiz, Bevin Bru, and Adelaide Clemens. This is a miss for The TV Ratings Guide, which had listed RJ Decker as "leans cancellation" as of its final ABC Renew/Cancel of the season.
