Friday TV Ratings 10/24/25: World Series Drops Roughly 25% From 2024 Opener, Fire Country Sinks to Series Low as Sheriff Country Rises, Boston Blue Also Dips [+ Analysis]

Game 1 of the World Series (2.5) was down a little under 25% from last year's opening game (3.29) in the Adults 18-49 demographic, but that was more than enough to put Fox on top on Friday night. On CBS, Sheriff Country (0.23, +0.01) ticked up, but Fire Country (0.19, -0.11) collapsed at nine. Boston Blue (0.20, -0.03) had a smaller decline at ten. Celebrity Wheel (0.25, -0.02) and 20/20 (0.15, -0.06) also dropped on ABC. NBC's On Brand with Jimmy Fallon (0.14, -0.01) and Dateline (0.16, -0.01) lost a hundredth apiece. Penn & Teller (0.05, +0.01) gained a tick on the CW, while Masters of Illusion (0.05, 0.00) held steady.
