CBS has added another new series to their programming slate for the 2026-27 TV season. Legal drama Cupertino, reuniting Evil star Mike Colter with creators Robert and Michelle King (who also created current CBS drama Elsbeth and the Good Wife franchise), will be set in Silicon Valley and center on a lawyer who, after being cheated out of stock options by the tech start-up her formerly worked for, pairs up with another recently-fired attorney to represent others taken advantage of by tech tycoons and fight back against the titans of the industry. CBS had previously commissioned a writers room for the series, and have handed it a straight-to-series order after the writers room delivered promising results. Colter is thus far the only actor attached to the series.
