In Memoriam -- Donnelly Rhodes (1937-2018)

Written Ruing Adding People to This List by Bridger Cunningham

Canadian actor Donnelly Rhodes passed away at the age of 80 after a battle with cancer.  Rhodes' television career is extensive, spanning 6+ decades chock with extensive guest appearances.  Rhodes started a legacy as Phillip Chancellor, II on The Young and the Restless from 1974-75.  Two years later, he couldn't get enough of the genre, even to laugh at it, as he appeared as Dutch Leitner from 1978-81.

That run was followed by a failed 1982 sitcom run on CBS' Report to Murphy.  Rhodes jumped borders and joined CBS hit Danger Bay as Dr. Grant Roberts.  Following that series' end, the actor jumped over the CBS's long-running drama Street Legal from 1991-92.  Other Canadian hits included DaVinci's Inquest (1998-2005) before Rhodes joined SyFy's Battlestar: Galactica as Dr. Cottle.  Rhodes was survived by his 5th wife, Sarah and two children.
