Wednesday TV Ratings 11/1/23: World Series Jumps in Final Game, Magnum PI Rises, The $100,000 Pyramid Slides (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The fifth and final game of the 2023 World Series (2.32, +0.60) grew by six-tenths from game four and became the only one of this cycle to break the 2.0 threshold in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Despite the massive competition on Fox, NBC dramas 'Quantum Leap' (0.31, +0.03) and 'Magnum PI' (0.27, +0.05) were both on the rise. On CBS, 'Survivor' (0.72, -0.01) and 'The Amazing Race' (0.33, -0.03) ticked down. 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' (0.43, -0.01) also dipped slightly on ABC, but 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.22, -0.10) dealt with a much more serious blow in the 10 p.m. time slot. 'Pyramid' was several ticks below the rerun of 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (0.29) that led into it and barely beat NBC's 'Chicago PD' repeat (0.18). 'Sullivan's Crossing' (0.05, -0.02) slipped on the CW, while 'The Spencer Sisters' posted a 0.04 for the fourth week in a row.

Finals Update: '2023 World Series Game 5' (+0.5) adjusted up.
