Sunday TV Ratings 6/18/23: Up Weak on ABC, US Open Golf Championship Soars in Final Day, USFL Declines (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The '2023 US Open Golf Championship' (1.06, +0.41) soared in its final night and broke past the 1.0 barrier in the Adults 18-49 demographic. The post-'Golf' slot was given to a rerun of NBC's 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge' (0.34), causing the reality series to post a higher rating than all of its original episodes. On ABC, a showing of 2009 Pixar film 'Up' (0.23) was quite underwhelming and fell below the 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. reruns of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.30/0.30). Fox's broadcast of the 'Philadelphia v. Michigan' USFL game (0.14) went three-hundredths lower than the match-up (0.17) from last week. CBS aired repeats of '60 Minutes' (0.26), 'The Equalizer' (0.17/0.15), and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.14). The CW went with reruns of 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.02/0.05), 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.05), and 'The Great American Joke Off' (0.02).

Finals Update: Both repeats of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (+0.1 each) adjusted up. The '2023 US Open Golf Championship' (-0.1) and the repeat of 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge' (-0.1) adjusted down.
