Monday TV Ratings 6/5/23: Failure to Launch for Stars on Mars, Crime Scene Kitchen Sinks in Delayed Return, Celebrity Family Feud Repeat Tops Night And Beats American Ninja Warrior (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The Fox network is no stranger to Nielsen rating duds, and the series premiere of reality offering 'Stars on Mars' (0.24) served as yet another addition to the long list of Fox failures. The program ranked 4th in the 8 o'clock timeslot, even losing out to CBS's random showing of 8-year old film 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' (0.25). At 9, 'Crime Scene Kitchen' (0.24) matched the demo rating of its lead-in for its season two debut but returned over a full tenth behind its previous low (0.35). On NBC, the premiere of 'American Ninja Warrior' (0.43) was only a few ticks below last year's start (0.47). At 10, 'Weakest Link' (0.24, +0.04) was up a bit for its first episode in nearly three weeks. ABC aired reruns of 'Celebrity Family Feud' (0.48/0.39/0.34) all-night long. The first of the three was the evening's top program in the 18-49 demographic. On the CW, 'The Rising' (0.06, +0.01) rose a tenth from last week's premiere. 'Barons' (0.03) held steady in the 9 p.m. hour.
