Preliminary Analysis: While Dr. Phil has enjoyed decades of success on his syndicated talk-show, his transition to primetime television was nothing short of a disaster. 'House Calls' (0.3) debuted in terrible form on CBS, with Phil's program losing nearly two-thirds of its stable 'Big Brother' lead-in (0.9). At 10, the return of 'The FBI Declassified' (0.2) went below every rating it posted back in late 2020, thus adding to the Eye network's pile of bad news. Over on ABC, 'Press Your Luck' (0.4) shed a tenth while 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.5) and a Kobe Bryant-based 'Superstar' (0.3) were even with their week-ago telecasts. NBC's 'America's Got Talent' (0.6) also held even, but 'Family Game Fight!' (0.4) gave back a tenth after a decent timeslot premiere. A repeat of 'Chicago PD' (0.2) lost half of that audience in the 10pm hour. Fox was completely steady with 'MasterChef' (0.5) and a special Wednesday edition of 'Beat Shazam' (0.4). The CW's 'Riverdale' (0.1) was flat while 'In the Dark' (0.1) inched up after garnering a 0.0 rating for its previous episode.
Finals Update: 'America's Got Talent' (+0.1) and the repeat of 'Chicago PD' (+0.1) adjusted up.
