The Baker and The Beauty: I've spoken a few other times about this show. Quite frankly, I expected it to be thrown out alongside today's other four cancellations. It's only partially owned by ABC and has gone as low as 0.4. Stumptown went that low and got renewed today, but I feel like ABC's planning something for Wednesday night with two of their comedies from that night being canceled, and it provides 10 PM stability. I don't expect Monday to go through such changes, so Baker isn't needed in that same way. Though it's certainly surprising that it wasn't canceled yet, that doesn't mean it'll pull off a surprising renewal. It's still a LIKELY CANCELLATION.

For Life: On the concerning end of things is For Life, which I thought would be renewed today but didn't get a pickup or a cancellation. Given that new series Call Your Mother is also from Sony, I am a bit concerned for For Life. It should've gotten a pickup along with the other Sony projects on ABC. However, I still think it will be renewed, since ABC easily could've canceled it alongside Schooled if that was their plan. It's being downgraded only to LEANS RENEWAL.

Wrapping Up:

Most of my predictions ended up being correct this season. All of my more confident calls ended up being correct, with Karey Burke deciding not to throw any CBS-level surprises at us this time around.

Both of my misses ended up being shows I decided to be generous to at the end of the season after thinking they would be canceled most of the season. I should've listened to my initial gut reaction on those, but the huge levels of uncertainty surrounding this field of comedies, which looked to mostly be on equal levels of strength, caused me to shift them around quite a bit. Maybe next year I'll do a bit better with fewer comedies likely to be on the ABC roster.

Those last-minute switch-ups weren't entirely bad. My downgrade of Single Parents, which never left the leans categories all season despite moving about five times, and my big upgrade of Stumptown both worked out in my favor. My ignoring of some late-stage uncertainty surrounding American Housewife also went well, since ABC renewed that one as well. All in all, I'm glad to have done as well as I did considering how uncertain I was with many of their bubble shows.

What do you think of my final final predictions? What do you predict for these two leftover shows? Let me know in the comments and vote in the final poll of the week!
